Description

The Stage side table, available in rectangular, square or trapezoidal form, serves as a practical table top to be used between seats or as a sofa-side table, thanks to its bold geometric aesthetic. Designed by Hannes Peer, it features a supporting metal structure that holds two shelves with bevelled edges, available in wood or glossy lacquer. In the rectangular and square versions, Stage also features a variant with a sliding top that conceals a handy storage compartment. With its elegant line that evokes the shapes and colours of late 1970s Milanese design, this side table proves to be a versatile and sculptural furniture piece, capable of balancing precision and warmth, and serving as the perfect complement to the two depths of the Riley seating system.

Top finishes։ The 50 mm thick contoured MDF top is available in Canaletto walnut veneer with Light Brown open-pore stain, brushed ash veneer with open-pore Licorice lacquer, or glossy Moka, Cappuccino and Birch Grey lacquer. All finishes feature a contoured solid wood border.

VERSION WITH STORAGE COMPARTMENT։ In the rectangular and square versions, the larger upper top slides by 25 cm. The upper and lower tops are connected by a 6 mm thick, 150 mm high metal element that also serves as a storage compartment, finished to match the base. The compartment interior is lined with Moka-coloured saddle-hide.

VERSION WITHOUT STORAGE COMPARTMENT։ The two tops (upper and lower) are connected by a metal element, 6 mm thick x H 150 mm, in the same finish as the base.

Base finishes։ The base is available in metal with a Black Chrome or polished Bronze finish and includes an internal MDF counterweight for added stability. Adjustable ABS feet with protective black felt glides complete the base.

N.B.։ For versions with different top finishes, the upper top is always in MDF with glossy Moka, Cappuccino or Birch Grey lacquer, while the lower top features either Canaletto walnut veneer in Light Brown open-pore stain or brushed ash veneer with open-pore Licorice lacquer.

Hannes Peer

Minotti’s collaboration with Hannes Peer, internationally recognised architect and designer from South Tyrol, makes its debut in 2024. Inspired by an approach that weave together past and present, traditional and modern elements, Hannes Peer shares the brand’s desire to shape designs that harmoniously merge aesthetics and functionality, reflecting a timeless quality that transcends the fleeting nature of trends. Constantly driven by his passion for experimenting with materials, textures and colours, Hannes Peer strives to balance architecture, interior design and product design in every project, allowing each element to find its own raison d’être.

His is an eclectic and multifaceted design language that overlaps different styles working on all scales and, when joining Minotti’s vision, it finds its perfect expression in the Yves modular seating system: a project with a dual soul that reveals itself in a combination of rigorous volumes and organic shapes, rich in unexpected and dynamic couture details.
