Description
Raphael, designed by the Italian-Danish duo GamFratesi, combines refined tailoring with generous, organic forms to bring the comfort of modular seating into a more flexible, standalone format. The collection includes three sofas, four armchairs, two dining little armchairs and two footstools, designed to suit both compact interiors and sophisticated residential spaces.
The sofas are available in linear, semi-curved and asymmetrical semi-curved versions, while the armchairs offer different proportions and configurations. GamFratesi
Minotti and GamFratesi began collaborating in 2018. The design of GamFratesi, architecture firm established in 2006 in Copenhagen by Italian-Danish duo Enrico Fratesi and Stine Gam, is rooted in the perfect fusion of tradition and innovation, craftsmanship and technology, rigour and poetry. With their different cultural backgrounds, Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi model their creative intuitions into designs that draw from both the classic decor and artisan tradition of Denmark and the classic Italian intellectual and conceptual approach.
A tried and tested melting pot of styles, expressed in furniture, objects, and installations with a silent elegance, in the production techniques used and in the meticulous attention to detail applied to the creations. The result is a sophisticated interpretation of Scandinavian minimalism, with many subtle, yet striking Nordic hints.
