Dining zone

Laurel armchair and dining little armchair designed by Giampiero Tagliaferri draw inspiration from Mid-Century forms and stylistic elements to create a unique and timeless design. The shell of the seats – available in wood or upholstered in leather – accommodates the seat and back cushions, tailored with stitching, and rises upward to support the soft cushioning of the armrests. The back of the armchair, with its strong personality, is enriched with a fabric or leather band, resembling a martingale, at two precious metal studs on the sides of the shell, also present in the dining little armchair version. The base of the swivel armchair and footstool is made of folded metal spokes fixed to a vertical support. The dining chair variant, featuring a lighter, more airy silhouette, comes with slender metal legs in the fixed version; in the swivel version, it is available with either metal or wooden legs.

Structure: The seat shell is made of curved plywood, finished in Dark Brown Palisander Santos, Light Brown Canaletto walnut, open-pore Licorice brushed ash, or upholstered beech. The backrest and seat feature metal and variable-density polyurethane foam padding, covered with breathable quilted fibre laminated to hypoallergenic cotton fabric for added softness. The aluminium armrests are padded with integral-skin polyurethane foam and covered with the same soft fibre treatment. A rear upholstered band, matching the backrest or shell finish, adds further comfort; it is not included on the dining little armchair. A decorative metal screw matching the base finish completes the shell, while the slipcover features soft top-stitching. Cushions can also be upholstered in a different leather type from the shell.

INFORMATIONS REGARDING UPHOLSTERY AND COVERS: The shell is available in Light Brown Canaletto walnut, Dark Brown Palisander Santos, or brushed ash with open-pore Licorice lacquer, with cushions and armrests upholstered in fabric or leather and the band, available only on the armchair, matching the cushion upholstery. The beech shell is upholstered in Aspen, Big Sur or Carmel leather from the Nature Leather category, with the cushions and armrests available in fabric or leather and the band matching the shell leather. 

Legs: In tubular metal with variable circular section, varnished Black Coffee colour with glossy anti-fingerprint finish or Black chrome finish. Black protective felt and/or polyethylene glides.

N.B.: the cushions can be upholstered in leather of a different type than the shell upholstery.
