Description
The Davis family includes several poufs, both round and square, available in different sizes and the Davis “Drum“ in the particular hourglass shape with saddle-hide top. All the poufs are characterized by a compact style and appreciation for refinement in details, like goose-down filling, covering in saddle- hide branded with the Minotti logo, and the discreetly elegant metal feet in Black-Nickel.
Structure: In multi-ply wood and let into high-density polyurethane foam in different densities. Additional lining with channeled goose down padding to enhance softness (apart from the Davis “Drum“ version). Black saddle-hide bottom.
Covers: Fabric or leather removable covers.
Feet: Metal feet Ø 70 mm with glossy Black-Nickel finish. Protective felt glides.
DAVIS “DRUM“: The Ø 41 cm pouf has a saddle-hide top in the following colors: Mud, Tobacco or Black.
Designer
Rodolfo Dordoni
Minotti’s collaboration with Milanese architect and designer Rodolfo Dordoni began in 1997 and continued until his passing in 2023. Over more than two decades, their partnership played a key role in shaping the company’s design identity.
Dordoni presented his first Minotti collection in 1997, including the iconic Suitcase armchair, marking the beginning of a long and successful collaboration. In 1998, he became Art Director, overseeing the development and coordination of the company’s collections. Under his direction, Minotti evolved into a complete lifestyle brand, developing collections for residential, outdoor, and Hospitality spaces. His vision helped establish a distinctive language of Italian craftsmanship, quality, and timeless contemporary design.
