Softcase was conceived as an architectural system designed to define the living space, rather than simply furnish it. Its precise construction, variety of configurations, and extensive customization options allow for ever-changing arrangements tailored to both the environment and the people who live in it. The concept is defined by its shaped shell outlining the back, marked by a central vertical seam and generous, harmonious proportions. Upholstered in leather or fabric with double perimeter stitching, it creates a compact volume that naturally accommodates the backrest. Internally, soft cushion-like backrests are anchored to the seat and enhanced by an original horizontal graphic detail in soft silicone, adding a tactile element and reinforcing the sense of comfort. The armrests are seamlessly integrated, while the trapezoidal side profile gives the design rhythm and coherence.

Softcase reimagines the square-lined sofa through a clear, formal language rooted in Minotti’s design heritage, while introducing a more pronounced sense of softness and plushness. One-piece seats offer versatile compositions for both traditional and unconventional spaces, combining formal rigour with exceptional comfort. A slim frame in polished or brushed extruded aluminium traces the perimeter of the upholstery, completing a design that blends modernism, proportion, and timeless balance.
