Description
The unexpected geometries and curved silhouettes of Yves Sofà also characterise the even softer forms of the Yves Round variant, which includes a curved sofa, a small armchair, lounge and dining ottomans, designed to create enveloping and convivial lounge atmospheres in different contexts, from residential to Hospitality spaces. The sofa and ottomans are fixed with a metal base in Black Coffee coloured varnish or with a chrome finish, while the armchair features five wheels with a 360° swivel movement. Yves Round perfectly interprets the comfort and both the aesthetic and functional principles of Minotti’s design language: from the sophisticated upholstery that dresses its curves with precision, to the versatile character of the furnishing pieces, conveying a cosy, welcoming feeling.
Structure: Plywood structure with high-resilience, variable-density polyurethane foam, encased in breathable, hypoallergenic quilted polyester fibre laminated to white cotton fabric. The seat and backrest feature asymmetrical double-stitched seams and refined piping, enhancing the distinctive haute couture character of the upholstery.
Cushions: Backrest cushion padding in channelled goose down undergoes routine sanitisation as specified in EC Regulation No. 1069/2009 (Assopiuma Gold Label certified) and is then encased in breathable heat-bonded fibre laminated to hypoallergenic white cotton fabric.
Covers: Upholstery is completely removable in all versions (fabric and leather).
Base: In metal, varnished polished Black Coffee colour with glossy anti-fingerprint or Chrome finish. The LOUNGE little armchair has castors with structure in nylon and thermoplastic polyurethane rubber. The sofa and the lounge and dining ottomans Ø 48 cm are fixed.
Designer
Hannes Peer
Minotti’s collaboration with Hannes Peer, internationally recognised architect and designer from South Tyrol, makes its debut in 2024. Inspired by an approach that weave together past and present, traditional and modern elements, Hannes Peer shares the brand’s desire to shape designs that harmoniously merge aesthetics and functionality, reflecting a timeless quality that transcends the fleeting nature of trends. Constantly driven by his passion for experimenting with materials, textures and colours, Hannes Peer strives to balance architecture, interior design and product design in every project, allowing each element to find its own raison d’être.
His is an eclectic and multifaceted design language that overlaps different styles working on all scales and, when joining Minotti’s vision, it finds its perfect expression in the Yves modular seating system: a project with a dual soul that reveals itself in a combination of rigorous volumes and organic shapes, rich in unexpected and dynamic couture details.
