Description

Bézier, designed by Studio MK27, goes beyond the traditional sofa with organic, infinitely combinable seating elements that create highly adaptable configurations. Irregular volumes and fluid curves shape and embrace both the space and its users, while precisely layered high-density polyurethane ensures exceptional, uniform comfort. Precise tailoring follows the curves of each element, complemented by a lumbar cushion that enhances both relaxation and visual appeal. Inspired by Pierre Bézier’s famous parametric curves, the system celebrates the fusion of mathematics and art. Its generous forms can create island-like compositions for residential and Hospitality spaces, transforming the sofa into a place for meeting and gathering. Rooted in Brazilian modernism, Bézier expresses the freedom of the curve as a natural solution, balancing emotion and functionality.

Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27

The partnership between Minotti and Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan began in 2017. Marcio Kogan approached the world of architecture and opened the Studio MK27 in São Paolo at the end of the seventies: volcanic and rigorous, attentive to the pure volumes and simple shapes of his designs, as well as the details and finishes, he favours open, squared architectures - which aesthetically and stylistically merge in and out - characterised by floor-to-ceiling windows that erase the boundary with the outdoors.

With a design style inspired by nature, the warm woods of his homeland, and the clean lines of his architectural works, in 2018, he created the Quadrado outdoor seating system for Minotti, approaching the world of design with brilliance for the first time.
