Dylan Small is a compact version of the Dylan modular seating system, combining sophisticated aesthetics with a contemporary base raised 13.5 cm from the floor. Its reduced seat depth makes it ideal for smaller domestic environments and Hospitality spaces, while maintaining the rigorous yet welcoming character of the original design. The project balances simplicity with refined couture-inspired details, including sophisticated stitching and the sinuous curves of the backrests and armrests. Dylan Small incorporates the complex craftsmanship of the original Dylan suspended base, where leather or fabric strips are sewn together with straps and enhanced by precise stitching that adds rhythm to the seat cushioning. All the expert craftsmanship accrued in Minotti’s 75 years of heritage is concentrated in a compact, versatile volume.

Structure: The seat is made of metal-reinforced plywood, padded with high-resilience, variable-density polyurethane foam and high-rubber-content elastic webbing for enhanced comfort. The armrest and backrest structures are padded with high-resilience polyurethane foam and encased in breathable, hypoallergenic quilted polyester fibre laminated to white cotton fabric, made with recycled materials. The upholstery is enhanced by refined piping, couture-inspired soft top-stitching, and quilting that increases softness and comfort. The structural base is covered in fabric or leather strips, tailored using the same techniques as the Connery seating system and joined with laces featuring fine hand-finished stitching.

Table-top surfaces: The element with 1 armrest cm 221 with TOP H has a top laminated MDF and aluminium, 18 mm thick, in ash veneer with open pore Moka colour lacquer finish or open-pore Tobacco colour stain.

Cushions: Seat cushions, padded in high-loft channelled goose down to lend greater softness and increase comfort, undergo routine sanitization as specified in EC Regulation No. 1069/2009 (Assopiuma certified, Gold Label). They are then encased in breathable heat-bonded fibre laminated to white hypoallergenic cotton fabric. Seat cushions with high resilience, variable-density polyurethane foam insert are covered in the upper part with temperature-sensitive polyurethane material.

Covers: Upholstery for the structure and seat cushions is completely removable in all versions (fabric and leather).

Bases: Weight-bearing, in extruded aluminium with varnished polished anti-fingerprint Bronze or Pewter colour finish. Bronze or black colour protective polyethylene glides to match the base finish.
