Description
An armchair conceived as a unique furnishing piece and symbol of a cultured aesthetic, capable of characterising the entire living space with its bold personality. Emmi is an expression of design rich in signature flair that pays homage to the generous and comfortable armchairs of the 1970s and reflects Minotti’s manufacturing know-how. Its understated elegance and attention to detail are evident in both the structure and the upholstery: the soft, nest-like cushioning, formed where two cushions meet, falls onto the frame, enhancing it, but at the same time leaving the two front legs and the architectural support behind it in full view. Rectangular-shaped with rounded edges, the legs come either in wood, glossy lacquered or upholstered in leather, thanks to the refined craftsmanship that lends a touch of haute-couture sophistication to the design. A harmonious balance that creates an ultra-enveloping seat of unparalleled comfort perfect for moments of relaxation, especially when paired with the ottoman featuring the same characteristics.
Structure: In tubular metal with high-rubber-content elastic webbing, coated in fireproof polyurethane foam. The structure is entirely encased in channelled goose down quilted padding for added fluffy softness.
Covers: Upholstery is completely removable in all versions (fabric and leather), by disassembling the base and removing the backrest and the screws located under the upholstery zipper.
Base: Metal base available in polished Chrome or polished Black Coffee with anti-fingerprint finish. Legs are available in brushed ash with Licorice open-pore lacquer, glossy Burnt Brown, Moka or Moss lacquer, or upholstered in selected Nature Leather finishes. Black protective SEBS glides complete the base.
Designer
Hannes Peer
Minotti’s collaboration with Hannes Peer, internationally recognised architect and designer from South Tyrol, makes its debut in 2024. Inspired by an approach that weave together past and present, traditional and modern elements, Hannes Peer shares the brand’s desire to shape designs that harmoniously merge aesthetics and functionality, reflecting a timeless quality that transcends the fleeting nature of trends. Constantly driven by his passion for experimenting with materials, textures and colours, Hannes Peer strives to balance architecture, interior design and product design in every project, allowing each element to find its own raison d’être.
His is an eclectic and multifaceted design language that overlaps different styles working on all scales and, when joining Minotti’s vision, it finds its perfect expression in the Yves modular seating system: a project with a dual soul that reveals itself in a combination of rigorous volumes and organic shapes, rich in unexpected and dynamic couture details.
