Description
A sinuous geometric pattern defines the identity of the Riley seating system by Hannes Peer. With a timeless aesthetic characteristic of Minotti’s stylistic language, Riley balances architectural rigour with expressive softness, creating a dynamic and versatile design that combines restraint and ease, permanence and fluidity. From its recessed metal base, the monolithic seat volume rises with light vertical quilting that gives rhythm to the backrest and armrests.
A contrasting or tone-on-tone leather profile becomes the distinctive feature, tracing a continuous line around the square backrest and armrests and creating a teardrop-shaped 45° cut at the junction between armrest and seat. The single seat cushion is partially housed in the padded base and enhanced by a 5 cm decorative band, while two different seat depths allow for greater comfort and a dynamic interplay of volumes. Additional “relax” cushions can serve as headrests thanks to an adjustable multidirectional aluminium frame, fully enveloped in layered polyurethane. A wide range of colour finishes for the stitched profile and exquisite upholstery craftsmanship complete Riley’s exclusive, refined, and timeless elegance. ADV 2025: Riley, by Hannes Peer, inhabits a modern home with a timeless aesthetic, reflecting Minotti’s signature style. Its bold geometric lines, enriched with sartorial details, explore the boundaries of contemporary modernism in a continuous dialogue between memory and innovation.
