Designed by Rodolfo Dordoni, Twiggy introduces a new aggregative language—free from schemes and preconfigurations, and capable of adapting to constantly evolving needs. The family originated with a sculptural armchair available in Small, Large, and Deep versions, with or without armrests, combining rigorous geometric forms with exceptional comfort and Minotti’s sophisticated sartorial craftsmanship. Refined stitching enhances the depth of the design, while leather, nubuck, or fabric upholstery gives each piece a distinctive character.

The collection expands into benches, couches, a chaise-longue, and a dormeuse, allowing individual elements to be freely combined into flexible compositions. Its curved, dynamic base in brushed semi-polished aluminium or Black Coffee polished aluminium further enhances the distinctive design. The Deep armchair offers additional versatility with 66 cm “Low” or 76 cm “High” backrests, including the “High Mix” version with a 76 cm backrest and 66 cm armrest, creating multiple configurations for contemporary living spaces.

Structure։ The plywood seat structure is made of multiple layers of high-resilience, variable-density polyurethane foam and encased in breathable, hypoallergenic quilted fibre laminated to white cotton fabric. The quilt contains soft siliconised microfibre made from certified 100% recycled PET for enhanced comfort.The armrest and backrest are padded with high-resilience, variable-density polyurethane foam and finished with breathable quilted polyester fibre laminated to hypoallergenic white cotton fabric. Embroidered quilting enhances the upholstery while adding softness and a refined finish.

Cushion Plus։ The backrest cushion features an integrated headrest that can also be used as a lumbar cushion. It is padded with soft siliconised microfibre made from certified 100% recycled PET and encased in breathable, hypoallergenic quilted fibre laminated to white cotton fabric. The headrest/lumbar cushion is made of high-resilience, variable-density polyurethane foam and finished with the same characteristic quilting used throughout the seating system, ensuring consistent comfort and refined craftsmanship.

Covers։ Structure and cushion upholstery, in fabric or leather, is completely removable.

Bases։ Semi-curved blades in heavy-duty aluminium, 8 mm thick, brushed semi-polished with textured effect or varnished polished anti-fingerprint, Black Coffee colour. Protective polyethylene glides (soft rubber, scratch-proof, oil-free, non-staining) pewter or black coffee colour, to match the finish on the bases. The finish “brushed semi-polished with textured effect“, developed by Minotti Studio, is achieved through an exclusive high-quality hand-finishing process that emphasizes the brushed aluminium texture, including possible natural nuances that make each piece unique.
