Armchair

Designed by Rodolfo Dordoni, Twiggy is a versatile family of seats that reinterprets living spaces through a timeless aesthetic. The collection originated with Small, Large and Deep armchairs, with or without armrests, combining rigorous geometric forms with enveloping comfort and refined Minotti tailoring. Available in leather, nubuck or fabric, the pieces are enhanced by distinctive stitching that highlights the craftsmanship.

The collection also includes benches, couches, a chaise-longue and a dormeuse, allowing individual elements to be freely combined into flexible compositions. Its curved, dynamic base in brushed semi-polished aluminium or Black Coffee polished aluminium adds a distinctive contemporary character, creating a new aggregative language free from fixed schemes and adaptable to constantly evolving needs.

Structure: Plywood structure with high-resilience, variable-density polyurethane foam, encased in breathable, hypoallergenic quilted fibre laminated to white cotton fabric. Soft siliconised microfibre made from certified 100% recycled PET enhances comfort. The armrests and backrest are similarly padded and finished with breathable quilted polyester fibre, while embroidered quilting adds a refined and distinctive finish to the upholstery.

Cushion Plus: Backrest cushion with an integrated headrest that can also be used as a lumbar cushion. It features soft siliconised microfibre padding made from certified 100% recycled PET, encased in breathable, hypoallergenic quilted fibre. The headrest/lumbar cushion is made of high-resilience, variable-density polyurethane foam and finished with the characteristic quilting of the seating system, combining comfort with a refined appearance.

Covers: Structure and cushion upholstery, in fabric or leather, is completely removable.

Bases: Semi-curved blades in heavy-duty aluminium, 8 mm thick, brushed semi-polished with textured effect or varnished polished anti-fingerprint, Black Coffee colour. Protective polyethylene glides (soft rubber, scratch-proof, oil-free, non-staining) pewter or black coffee colour, to match the finish on the bases. The finish “brushed semi-polished with textured effect“, developed by Minotti Studio, is achieved through an exclusive high-quality hand-finishing process that emphasizes the brushed aluminium texture, including possible natural nuances that make each piece unique.
